Amazing Video

Lionesses don't always have successful hunts; they can go hungry for days. A few illustrations in this book were inspired by a video filmed on an Africa safari called "Battle at Kruger National Park." An inexperienced buffalo leader, a young pride of lions, and two crocodiles are involved in an incredible battle for a calf. In the end, the herd of buffalo regroup and reclaim their baby. This would be a difficult video for me to watch, but knowing the calf is triumphant makes me anxious to see the amazing, inspirational ending. Please be sure it's okay with your parents before watching this video.
